A self-hosted n8n workflow that schedules and posts to LinkedIn and X from a Google Sheet, which its author says replaced a Buffer/Hootsuite-style scheduler. Each recipe links to its public source, with an honest reliability rating.

When to keep Buffer
Keep Buffer if you post for a team that needs approvals, want built-in analytics, or post to many networks. The recipe here covers LinkedIn and X only, has no analytics dashboard, and depends on platform APIs (X's changes often). You also have to host and maintain n8n yourself.
