What is AppToBot?
A free tracker of real AI agents and automations that replaced an app, subscription or manual habit, with a side-by-side comparison and a reliability rating for each.
Where do the numbers come from?
From each recipe's public source. If the source doesn't state a cost or time saved, we show 'Not reported' instead of guessing.
Are the reliability ratings tested?
They're an editorial read of the evidence in each source (how long it ran, safeguards, known failures), not lab testing.
Do I need to code?
Not for most recipes. Many use no-code tools like n8n or Make. Each page shows the skill level: Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced.
What does it cost to run a bot instead of an app?
It varies. Typical costs are AI API usage plus hosting for the automation tool. Each recipe lists cost before vs after when the source reports it.
Is my data safe with these bots?
It depends on the stack. Each recipe has a privacy note saying which services see your data, such as an LLM provider reading your email.
Can sponsors pay for a better rating?
No. Ratings never change for money, and any sponsored or affiliate link is labeled.
How do I submit a recipe?
Use the Submit page. A public source URL is required.
Does AppToBot use cookies or trackers?
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free. No ad trackers.
